The Surgery Position:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Surgery Specialist to join our experienced team of 3 Surgical Specialists, Registrar, Resident and 3 surgery interns. This hospital is about to undergo a refurbishment with the addition of a brand new Siemans Magnetom Sempra 1.5 Tesla MRI arriving this July! The team also has a brand new Siemens Somatom 64-slice CT, GE OEC One fluoroscopy unit, and DR radiography unit, with 2 spacious theatres and a large dedicated prep area. You’ll have support from our full-time rehabilitation therapist on-site, complete with an underwater treadmill, laser therapy, shockwave therapy, regenerative therapy capabilities, supporting your patients into their recovery period. We are looking for a permanent team member working across a 4-day week.
To be considered for the position, you will need to:
- Value a hospital culture of inclusivity, empathy and teamwork.
- Be eligible to register as a veterinarian in New South Wales and be qualified as a specialist in Surgery, Fellow (ANZCVS) or Diplomate (ACVS, ECVS).
- Applicants who have completed a residency training program in surgery are strongly encouraged to apply!
